In 2018, Out There Arts was commissioned to take part in the Pages of the Sea Armistice event. Working together with various partners and artists across the UK and Ireland the project produced a unique event gathering communities on 32 beaches to say a collective thank you and goodbye to the millions who left the shores in the First World War. Coordinating the project on Gorleston Beach, with the local community, 100s of silhouettes and artworks were stenciled in the sand, timed to be washed away by the rising tide.
