Granny Plastic

Granny Plastic has been picking up plastic from beaches for over 8 years. They have exhibited at many places - Norfolk Makers Festival nearly ever since they started picking up. Their artwork, which highlight plastic pollution in our water systems, has also been shown at Cromer Art space and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust – showcasing their iconic plastic knitted ‘Scarf’ - now 105 meters long (The length of a football pitch!). Another 3 metres of which is available for people to add a few rows to on the day. Each time they go out to collect ocean plastic from the beach, they  count and record how much they find.
