Out There are dedicated to delivering outstanding circus and street arts events and opportunities, including the Out There International Festival of Circus & Street Arts.
Following around £1m of work on our Drill House building in Great Yarmouth, courtesy of investment from Arts Council England, the Drill House is set to become a leading international centre for circus and street arts creation as well as a vital community hub. We’re on the look-out for a people to help us develop our team and a range of exciting projects.
We’re looking for the following roles on casual and freelance contracts:
CIRCUS & PERFORMANCE TUTORS
We’re keen to expand our team of tutors, so if you are a circus tutor, or you work in a related field, (dance, theatre, gymnastics) who’d like to get involved in circus, we’d love to hear from you.
CIRCUS RIGGERS & TECHNICIANS
Experienced circus riggers and lighting and audio crew to support events and residencies at the Drill House.
ARTISTS, MAKERS & FABRICATORS
We’ll be expanding our work creating fabulous festival décor, delivering creative workshops, and building crazy contraptions. If you’re an artist, maker or fabricator who’d like to get involved in the world of street arts, we’d love to hear from you!
CASUAL EVENT & OPERATIONAL STAFF
We’re looking for outgoing, enthusiastic and flexible Drill House crew members to staff and set up events and residencies, building operations, support event publicity and look after audiences and visitors at the Drill House.
