Drillaz Sponsorship
We are offering 6 sponsored places for young women aged 16-21 at the Drillaz Circus School. These women will have a year’s worth of circus school paid for as well as opportunities to develop transferable skills across a multitude of career paths.
This project has been generously supported by Brineflow and successful applicants will have the chance to work with an internationally significant industry.
Who can apply?
You may already be a member of Drillaz Circus School and want to continue developing your circus practice. Or, you might have never tried circus but it is something you have always wanted to have a go at. We are welcoming applications from novices to professionals, we just want people who are driven and enthusiastic.
Applications are open to women aged 16-21.

We want this opportunity to be a springboard into whatever career you wish to pursue. You will gain experience in events, performing arts, business and more.
Out There Arts will facilitate connections with artists in residence at the Drill House and those performing at the Out There Festival. Professional artists will be able to share their experiences in navigating the creative industry as well as give advice. We can also offer you behind the scenes experience at our year round events and the Out There Festival. Whatever your interests are, we will try to give you experience in that field.
What is Drillaz?
Drillaz is Great Yarmouth’s homegrown Circus School based at the Drill House. They offer classes for children from 7-18 years old as well as adult classes. Classes cover a variety of circus disciplines such as trapeze, aerial silks, juggling, stilts and tight wire. Drillaz students go on to study performing arts at university, perform at world renowned festivals and tour with national companies.
