A free programme for young people aged 11-18 (up to 25 for those with SEND) which encourages participation in culture and creativity through doing making and creating.
Come down to the Marina Centre to hang out and get involved with activities in the cafe and on the surrounding beach (weather permitting). There will be creative workshops, games, sports, circus, crafts and more - so there will be something for everyone. If you would rather bring your own thing to do or just chill with your friends, that is totally fine too.
No need to book - just turn up!
Bamboo Beach Village
Join Out There Arts on the Great Yarmouth Beach to help us construct a ‘Bamboo Beach Village’. Get involved in building kiosks, tipis and pergolas, using sustainable and upcycled materials. The structures will be adorned with bright colourful flags, and will give you a small sense of what is to come for Out There Festival 2025, with Cie Moso’s impressive bamboo playground ‘Morphosis’, and the finale of Kinetika’s Beach of Dreams project.
Bamboo Beach Village
This workshop is led by experienced and professional Technical Crew, and involves active hands on participation. Children and Young People are encouraged to join in, however, they must comply with health and safety guidance, as well as the building instructions from the Workshop Facilitators.
