A free programme for young people aged 11-18 (up to 25 for those with SEND) which encourages participation in culture and creativity through doing making and creating.
Come down to Charter Academy from 5pm-7pm to hang out and get involved with activities. There will be creative workshops, games, circus, crafts and more - so there will be something for everyone. If you would rather bring your own thing to do or just chill with your friends, that is totally fine too.
Two sessions will be running at the same time, one in Helsden Hall and one in the Music Room. You can enter through the back gate on Beaconsfield Road. What3words///piano.dare.types.

Sound and Music Workshop
Join 4D Sound Artist, Johan Don Daniel, to create an interactive soundscape based on the rich history of the iconic Winter Gardens. The workshop will be a mixture of learning how to build instruments, create midi controllers and sampling their sounds. It’s about building on creativity/imagination, problem solving and working to a creative brief. The sounds created will accompany animations that will be projected onto the Winter Gardens in April 2025.
