Out There Arts National centre for outdoor arts and circus

The Winter Gardens is set to be fully restored and repurposed as a sustainable seaside attraction - beckoning a golden era of the Great Yarmouth Seaside.

As the building works get underway, there will be an exciting programme of creative workshops, art projects and participation lined up over the next few years, ready for when the building opens.

We're working with local schools, community groups, Freshly Greated , Time and Tide Museum of Great Yarmouth Life and Great Yarmouth Borough Council to develop creative responses to the Winter Gardens' remarkable history, through a series of projections onto the Winter Gardens building.

Artist Opportunities

We are looking for three artists specialised in:

  • Photography/Videography
  • Sound Design and Music
  • Animation (2D, physical and/or digital)

To support us in collaborating with local communities and young people in Great Yarmouth for the Winter Gardens Illumination and Projection project.

The Artists will lead workshops to capture social heritage, and creatively explore shared past experiences and future aspirations related to the Winter Gardens.

These stories will be shared on digital platforms and in a stunning visual display at three Illuminations and Projections at the Winter Gardens.
