FRESH in the UK
Take part in a conversation about the future of outdoor arts and placemaking

May 28th - 31st 2025
As part of the Out There International Festival of Outdoor Arts and Circus 2025

Great Yarmouth
Taking place in the UK's Capital of Circus and home of the National Centre for Outdoor Arts and Circus
Outdoor Arts has often been an effective means to engage communities on a large scale.
As part of FRESH Street #5 (the world's biggest outdoor arts conference) we're inviting Creative People and Place organisations to join us in Great Yarmouth to network and explore how they might connect further with the wider Outdoor Arts sector.
We hope this will support:
- Creative People and Place areas connections with one another and the outdoor arts sector
- Growing opportunities to share and commission community and art projects
- Regional, national, international and environmentally conscious touring co-operation
- Development of event-mapping tools (who is doing what, where and when)
- Building of network support through CPDs and mechanisms for sharing opportunities, resources and experiences.
We know Participation and inclusion is the driving theme for CPPs and feel it is inherent in the outdoor arts. The UK is particularly good in this area and this is an opportunity to showcase our strength on an international stage and to bring world class experiences to local audiences.

“Outdoor Arts is massively important to CPPs like us - it's a key approach to making work accessible for large numbers of poeple that do not otherwise engage with culture. Many of the CPPs have used Out There as a shopping centre for brilliant outdoor work.”
— Karen Jeremiah, Former Director, Freshly Greated CPP
