FRESH in the UK
Take part in a conversation about the future of outdoor arts and placemaking
May 28th - 31st 2025
As part of the Out There International Festival of Outdoor Arts and Circus 2025
Great Yarmouth
Taking place in the UK's Capital of Circus and home of the National Centre for Outdoor Arts and Circus
The Creative People and Places network has looked to the Outdoor Arts as an effective means to engage communities on a large scale.
As part of FRESH Street #5 (the world's biggest outdoor arts conference) we're inviting Creative People and Place organisations to join us in Great Yarmouth to network, explore and grow CPP areas with the wider Outdoor Arts sector.
What this means is:
- Stronger and connected Creative People and Place areas
- Growing opportunities to share and commision community and art projects
- Regional, national, international and enviromentally conscious touring co-operation
- Development of event-mapping tools (who is doing what, where and when?)
- Building of network support through CPDs and mechanisms for sharing opportunities, resrouces and experiences.
Participation and inclusion is the driving theme for CPPs and it is inherent in the outdoor arts. The UK is particularly good in this area and this is an opportunity to showcase our strength on an international stage and to bring world class experiences to local audiences.
