In need of some light and warmth as Autumn rolls on? We’re partnering with Freshly Greated and the Barracks community to present Barracks Luminara, a cross-cultural event aimed at bringing you and your community a dash of colour!

Entirely free and open to all, Barracks Luminara promises a silent disco, fire garden, a luminous lantern parade, dancing and drumming and more. You’re invited to get hands-on in the celebrations with light-up arts and crafts and UV mural spray-painting with STANE! Working closely with Jaymini Nakum (Cultural Arts Practitioner) and the Vedic Cultural Society of East Anglia, we’ll also celebrate elements from the Diwali Festival.
Saturday 1st November, 5.30pm - 7.30pm, the Barracks Luminara will take place on St Nicolas Recreation Ground by St Nicholas Car Park, opposite Great Yarmouth South Beach. The lantern parade will gather on Barkis Road opposite Morrisons.
