An ensemble from the BBC Concert Orchestra will be making surprise appearances on the streets of Great Yarmouth.
On Friday 10th June & Saturday 11th of June, the woodwind quintet will be performing in the HAZ Cultural Zone as part of the HAZ cultural programme and the Orchestra’s 3-year residency in Great Yarmouth.
The locations and times are as follows:

BBC Concert Orchestra will be in residency in Great Yarmouth working in collaboration with the charity Orchestras Live and arts organisations in the county.
The aim was to provide learning pathways and improve people’s wellbeing
It will run workshops in every primary school in the town and hold a free schools concert. Pop-up performances in public spaces, as part of a Heritage Action Zone will also take place.

HS Cultural HAZ is an exciting 3 year programme for professional artist and community collaborations exploring and celebrating Great Yarmouth’s unique character, heritage and national significance as a centre for circus and entertainment.
Through year round participatory creative activities including workshops, heritage learning, performance, skill development and experiences; Great Yarmouth’s key arts and heritage organisations will animate and co create cultural programmes and wider town developments with communities, residents and businesses in the High St. Creating a more vibrant, engaging place to live, work and visit through cultural regeneration for GY.
