Take a moment with your family and friends to relax at the Drill House, with arts crafts, drinks and delicious homemade foods.
Family Saturdays are 2-hour sessions (12.30pm – 2.30pm) each with the first half complete with craft workshops and nutritionally balanced meals followed by the second half of circus workshops to take part in.
Coming up at Family Saturdays:
On 7th and 14th May at the Drill House Family Saturdays, we will create monoprints using images of Great Yarmouth. These prints will later be used to build a storytelling game, which will be displayed as part of the Great Yarmouth HSHAZ Shop Window Trail.
Both workshops invite you to bring along a little sketch or a photograph you’ve taken of your favourite building, street name or view of somewhere that is special to you in Great Yarmouth.
The ‘Fishy Tales Viewfinder’ invites you to look through the small square and draw what you see. You can make one by simply cutting out a small square in the middle of a piece of paper. As you wander around Yarmouth, peek through your viewfinder and see what you find!
Look closely, look up, look down and see what catches your eye. There is plenty of history and heritage around you. These workshops invite you to discover stories about Great Yarmouth and make some new ones!
