Following a day of activities, local professionals and creatives are invited to join us for an evening of talks and networking. The organisations involved in the Fête of Britain will share insights into what they do and the projects they are working on. Talks will feature representatives from Hard Art, Bureau of Silly Ideas, Love After Oil and Camerados. Local organisations will then present their recent work and initiatives in Great Yarmouth. This will be followed by a relaxed session of mingling and networking.

Hard Art
Hard Art is a collective of musicians, artists, faith leaders, and others who have come together to imagine a new direction for the UK that feels right for the times we live in. Its members include the musician Brian Eno, designer Es Devlin, artists Jeremy Deller and Cornelia Parker, and a host of other makers, doers, community and faith leaders, who believe in culture, community and creativity to change things.

Bureau of Silly Ideas
BOSI injects art, entertainment, humour and surprise in everyday places - creating engaging installations, devised theatre shows and surprising interventions that bring magic and silliness to the mundane.

Love After Oil
Sweatshop
Sweatshop is an immersive experience of Fashion based in Care from Artist Collective - Love After Oil. They upcycle sweatshirts from old fabric using a pedal powered sewing machine giving participants a taste of what we can achieve when we rebuild culture with Care at the centre.

Camerados
Public Living Room
Camerados is a social movement who think being a bit more human is a good thing and believe that the answer to our problems is each other. They tour a pop-up living room - welcoming, no-agenda places for folks to sit down with a cuppa, have a chat and feel more human.
