We’re exploring your ideas and how we can effectively celebrate the heritage of the Ice House in Great Yarmouth.
In 2025, The Ice House will be transformed into an arts and cultural centre to support the town’s cultural activities.
During The Ice House’s development, there will be an array of events and activities celebrating the history and heritage of the building. We want your voice in shaping those activities and making sure the passion and energy of our community is reflected in the process.
We will be hosting a series of community sessions in Great Yarmouth, at The Drill House and surrounding areas where we will be inviting everyone to have their say on the heritage celebrations.
Young and older people, artists and cultural professionals, neighbouring communities, and anyone and everyone with an interest is invited to come along and explore this journey together.
The events will use the open space meeting style – a fun, participatory and empowering approach that welcomes all ideas.
With funding and support from National Heritage Lottery Fund, Architectural Heritage Fund, Great Yarmouth Towns Deal and Brineflow;
Have Your Say Sessions will be taking place at The Drill House on:
