Parkour workshop

A free programme for young people aged 11-18 (up to 25 for those with SEND) which encourages participation in culture and creativity through doing making and creating.

Join us for a special edition of Stomping Ground!, where we will be kickstarting two very exciting projects: Beach of Dreams and Winter Gardens - Illuminate. 

Come down to the Drill House for 1pm to set off on the tour with us. If you arrive late, don't worry, there will be a sign at the Drill House as to where we are. We won't be more than 10 mins walk away.

No need to book - just turn up!

Please note: Participants wanting to take part in the workshop will need access to a smartphone or smart device that has a camera. Out There Arts has a limited stock of tablets, that participants will be able to borrow on the day for the workshop, if they are not able to bring their own device.

Smartphone Photography and Videography Workshop

Help us document Great Yarmouth’s rich social and environmental history, by getting involved in an exciting Smartphone Photography and Videography Workshop. Take creative control of your smartphone, learn the basic rules of composition, the importance of light, practicalities of outdoor photography, reviewing and editing your top photos.

Heritage Entertainment Tour

Participants will join Dr. Deborah Jeffries, a Historian specialising in Victorian entertainment arts and Architecture, as well as our Beach of Dreams and Winter Gardens Artists on a whistle-stop Heritage Entertainment tour of some of Great Yarmouth’s iconic landmarks including, the Hippodrome, the Windmill and the Winter Gardens.
