A free programme for young people aged 11-18 (up to 25 for those with SEND) which encourages participation in culture and creativity through doing making and creating.
Come down to Charter Academy from 5pm-7pm to hang out and get involved with activities. There will be creative workshops, games, circus, crafts and more - so there will be something for everyone. If you would rather bring your own thing to do or just chill with your friends, that is totally fine too.
Two sessions will be running at the same time, one in Helsden Hall and one in the Music Room. You can enter through the back gate on Beaconsfield Road. What3words///piano.dare.types.

Sonic Sculpture Design
Emma Denby
Using interactive technology and sculptures inspired by science fiction, collaborate with Emma to make art come to life with your sound, movement and curiosity. The workshop will involve using your creativity and imagination to play with the sculpture, and could include singing, using dance moves or playing instruments to the sculpture. Emma will be gathering all of the reactions, thoughts and ideas from the workshop to help inform a final version of her work which will be on display in September.
