Contemporary Ritual Theatre presents
WYRD SISTER
a play by Beau Hopkins
Following the success of SALT in 2024, Contemporary Ritual Theatre return to the Drill House for a work in progress showing of their next project, WYRD SISTER.
Meet Angharad, a charismatic nomad and centuries-old witch.
Wandering barefoot over East Anglia with a wheelie bag filled with the heads of those she's loved and hated down the years, she spends her years acting out the memories she treasures most - stories of ecstasy and darkness...
But Angharad is not alone. Wherever she goes, she is hunted by her 'Shadow', a terrifying creature intent upon confronting her with her guilty past.
Set within a ritual arena built of tree poles, and blending monologue, comic mime and shamanic dance, WYRD SISTER is a haunting contemporary folk tale of judgment and redemption.
