Audio Description

What is Audio Description?

Audio Description narrates the visual elements of a show for visually impaired members of the audience.

We have selected visual shows to be audio described.

Logistics

You can pick up the audio description kit from the Access Hub. Alternatively, at Audio Described shows volunteers will be handing the kits out. They will also tell you which Channel to set your kit to, either 1 or 2. Once you have got your kit, you can keep hold of it for the day and hand it back at the Access Hub or to the Audio Describers at the end of the day.
If you would like to listen to the Audio Description and you have hearing aids, neck loops are available too
